Access
Current students, employees, and alumni can access their library account by using their institutional login credentials.
My Account:
- Lists current items checked-out and their due dates.
- Automatically renews items and shows the number of renewals used.
- Lists any fines due
- Shows current hold requests on SBTS library items. Interlibrary loan requests will not immediately appear.
- Allows account holders to save their searches and create item lists for research.
- Provides the option to save your borrowing history. Visit your profile to enable this feature. Your history will be retained for five years. You may clear your borrowing history at any time by toggling the option.
If your institutional login is in error, contact Campus Technology, (502)-897-4006. For other errors, contact Library IT, libraryit@sbts.edu.
Library Fines
Library fees can be avoided by returning items by the due date. You can check your account balance from the My Account button on the Library homepage. If your fines exceed the max account balance, your account will become blocked.
Fines can be paid by visiting the circulation desk located on the library’s main floor.
Please make checks payable to “Southern Seminary” and in the memo line write “Library Fines” along with your student ID number.

Account Blocks
Patron accounts can become blocked for various reasons. When blocked, patrons should contact the circulation desk located in the library’s main floor lobby to resolve this issue. If an account is blocked, all library functions will be suspended and other campus activities could be suspended including, but not limited to:
- Placing Holds
- Borrowing/Renewing items
- Registering/Paying for classes
- Completing the graduation process
- Receiving your diploma, transcript, or certificate
